Problem

American Sound, a 70-year-old AV integrator with deep roots in stadiums, schools, and hospitals, faced a familiar challenge: brand consistency across a fast-growing, distributed team.

With over 200 employees and five domains, core brand touchpoints like email signatures and business cards were slipping through the cracks. Signatures varied by department. Cards were static, outdated, and hard to manage. Marketing couldn’t run campaigns. IT couldn’t enforce consistency. And employees lacked a reliable, modern way to share contact info on the go.

“It just wasn’t sustainable. We needed one system to bring it all together,” said Ali Brichkov, Director of Marketing and a key stakeholder overseeing the rollout of digital identity and brand consistency across the organization.

They wanted clean, consistent signatures. Clickable banners to support campaigns. And digital business cards that worked everywhere — all integrated into their Microsoft stack.

So, they partnered with Opensense.

Solution

Opensense for Email Signatures + Digital Business Cards

Ali partnered with Opensense to roll out centrally managed email signatures and QR-powered digital business cards across the organization.

“It was so quick. I gave them a rough idea, they came back with a design, and within a couple rounds we were live,” Ali said.

Opensense integrated directly with American Sound’s Microsoft environment — including Outlook, Azure, and Entra ID — making deployment fast and seamless across 250+ employees.

Key capabilities included:

  • Dynamic, branded signatures with role-specific logic
  • Digital business cards with QR codes linking to live contact info
  • Localized footers to promote partnerships (e.g., “Proud AV Partner of the Phoenix Suns”)

The digital business cards, in particular, made a real-world impact:

“We had sales reps screenshotting their QR code and setting it as their phone wallpaper,” Ali shared. “At client meetings, they’d just hold up their phone. It was fast, impressive, and no one lost a card.”

Before Opensense, we were juggling inconsistent signatures, outdated business cards, and no real way to manage our brand across five regions. It just wasn’t sustainable. Opensense made the entire process fast, clean, and easy — from design to deployment. Now, our branding is unified, our sales team has modern tools they actually use, and marketing can finally run campaigns without fighting the basics. It feels like we’re one company again.

Results

Unified Brand, Scalable Foundation, Real-World Adoption

The results were both immediate and long-term:

  • 250+ employees now send consistent, professional email communications
  • All five offices use aligned branding on business cards and email
  • QR codes became a go-to tool for sales at events and tradeshows
  • New hires are automatically onboarded into the system
  • Marketing can now deploy banner campaigns directly into Outlook at scale

"It feels like we're one company again," said Ali. "And now we can start layering on more impactful touchpoints without needing to fix foundational issues."

What's Next

American Sound now plans to run regional banner campaigns tied to partnerships, sponsorships, and seasonal pushes  all powered by Opensense.

But the real win was cultural. “This gave us a brand foundation that can scale,” Ali shared. "And it did it in a way that was fast, clean, and embraced by the team.”
