Opensense is software platform that unlocks email signatures as a marketing channel and helps businesses manage email signatures & disclaimers for IT, legal, and compliance.
We are committed to being transparent with our customers regarding the data we collect from you, protecting your privacy, and disclosing how the data is used and shared. The amount of personal information you are required to supply will normally be limited to that which is necessary to supply the service or carry out the transaction that you have requested. If other information is requested, it will be labelled as optional. We collect information from you when you register on our site, place an order, subscribe to our newsletter, respond to a survey or fill out a form. When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, mailing address or phone number. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.
Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or enter, submit, or access your personal information. While the security of your data is extremely important to us, remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We use strong encryption and SSL-only access as well as password, network, and other security policies & procedures to protect your data. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. We will notify you within 30 days of any serious data or privacy breach.

Opensense aims to take reasonable steps to allow you to correct, amend, delete, or limit the use of your Personal Data. If you wish to be informed what Personal Data we hold about you and if you want it to be removed from our systems, please contact us at email@example.com. In certain circumstances, you have the following data protection rights: the right to access, update or to delete the information we have on you; the right of rectification (the right to have your information rectified if that information is inaccurate or incomplete); the right to object to our processing of your Personal Data; the right of restriction (to request that we restrict the processing of your personal information); the right to data portability (the right to be provided with a copy of your Personal Data in a structured, machine-readable and commonly used format); and the right to withdraw consent (the right to withdraw your consent at any time where Opensense relied on your consent to process your personal information).
Please note that we may ask you to verify your identity before responding to such requests sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. You also have the right to complain to a Data Protection Authority about our collection and use of your Personal Data. Subprocessors: Opensense currently uses third party Subprocessors to provide infrastructure services, and to help us provide customer support and email notifications. Prior to engaging any third party Subprocessor, Opensense performs diligence to evaluate their privacy, security and confidentiality practices, and ensures that an appropriate agreement implementing its applicable obligations. Opensense does not save customer emails, but may use the following Subprocessors to host process data or provide other infrastructure that helps with delivery of our Services:

Yes (Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computers hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the sites or service providers systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information
We may collect demographic information, such as your ZIP code, age, gender, preferences, interests and favorites using log files that are not associated with your name or other personal information. There is also information about your computer hardware and software that is automatically collected by us. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, internet service provider (ISP), the files viewed on our site (e.g., HTML pages, graphics, etc.), operating system, clickstream data, access times and referring website addresses. This information is used by Opensense to provide general statistics regarding use of the Opensense Website. For these purposes, we do link this automatically-collected data to Personal Information such as name, email address, address, and phone number.
The Adobe Flash Player (and similar applications) use technology to remember settings, preferences and usage similar to browser cookies but these are managed through a different interface than the one provided by your Web browser. This technology creates locally stored objects that are often referred to as "Flash cookies." Opensense does not use Flash cookies.
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information except to trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you; these parties are obligated to keep the information strictly confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, a subpoena, to enforce our site policies, or to protect our's or others' rights, property, or safety. In addition, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses. Data subjects will be notified if their personal information is disclosed as a part of a legal request, to the extent legally permitted by law.
We retain the personal data you provide while your account is in existence or as needed to provide you Services. We will retain personal data we process on behalf of our Clients for as long as needed to provide services to our Clients. Opensense will retain this personal information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Data can be removed upon request of a customer at the end of a predetermined agreement or upon cancelation by contacting us at email@example.com.
Users (and data subjects) have the ability to request an export and/or delete of their Personal Information in the Opensense app as well, in accordance with Article 17 of GDPR by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also inquire about Personal Information that Opensense has about you by emailing email@example.com. You may be asked additional information to confirm your identity prior to disclosing any PII.
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 18 ("Children"). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your Children has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.
For customers who choose to install our G-Suite Marketplace App integration, we may synchronize your employee directory including user attributes, group attributes and organizational unit attributes for the sole purpose of generating correct email signatures.
