Where your banner links resolve
Letsignit reports banner clicks in its own dashboard, by campaign and by employee, which means a click passes through Letsignit infrastructure before it reaches your site. That is simply how per-employee attribution works, and any vendor offering it wraps the link somewhere. The question is whose domain does the wrapping. Their public product pages describe the reporting but do not describe an option to serve those links from a domain you own (checked September 2026), which is what the comparison table above records.
Opensense wraps the click the same way and then lets you point it at a subdomain you control, so attribution does not put a third-party domain into mail your employees send all day. Filtering engines and link-reputation services score the domains inside a message, and a shared vendor domain carries whatever reputation every other customer on it has earned. Our own signature guide puts it bluntly: a banner served from a link shortener or a domain with no sending history is a deliverability problem waiting for a busy quarter.
This is a second-order concern and worth treating as one. Authentication records and domain reputation decide almost all of your deliverability. The link domain starts to matter at volume, or when a security review asks which outside domains show up in your outbound mail.
Frequently asked questions
Can Letsignit host email signature banner links on my own domain?
Not as far as Letsignit documents publicly. Letsignit reports banner clicks in its own dashboard by campaign and by employee, which means clicks pass through Letsignit infrastructure on the way to your site. Its public product pages describe that reporting but do not describe an option to serve the tracked links from a domain you own (checked September 2026), which is what the live comparison table on this page records. Opensense supports it: tracked links can resolve on a subdomain you control.
Why would I want a custom white-labeled link domain for email signatures?
So the only domains in your outbound mail are ones you own. Any vendor that reports per-employee banner clicks has to wrap the link somewhere, and the question is whose domain does the wrapping. Filtering engines and link-reputation services score the domains inside a message, and a shared vendor domain carries whatever reputation every other customer on it has earned. It also means a future change of signature vendor does not change the domain your recipients have been clicking.
How much does the link domain really matter for deliverability?
Less than authentication, and more than nothing. Your SPF, DKIM and DMARC records and your sending domain’s reputation decide almost all of it, and an email signature is rarely why a message is filtered. The link domain is a margin worth holding when you send at high volume, when a security review asks which outside domains appear in your mail, or when a previous vendor’s shared domain has already been flagged somewhere you do business.
Is Opensense a Letsignit alternative for Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace?
It is built for both, which is the other live gap on this page. The comparison table records Letsignit as not supporting Gmail, Apple Mail, iPhone Mail or Android Mail, while Opensense covers Outlook and Gmail on desktop and mobile under one admin model. If your estate is purely Outlook on Windows that difference may not matter to you. If it is mixed, or if staff read mail on phones, it decides the shortlist.
