Channel Marketing Manager
Opensense is scaling a global, channel-led go-to-market motion, building brand presence and pipeline through distributors and their partner ecosystems (TD SYNNEX, ScanSource, Ingram Micro, Pax8, QBS, and more) and a growing base of MSPs and VARs, with plans to launch the program across the U.S., Canada, and UK/EMEA.
The Channel Marketing Manager owns and executes our channel marketing strategy. You will recruit and activate partners, run events and enablement, manage co-branded campaigns, and be the marketing presence that gets Opensense in the room with the people who sell.
This role travels. Regional events, national events, and periodic international ones.
What you will do
Partner recruitment and activation
- Develop and run partner recruitment campaigns (webinars, lunch-and-learns, boot camps, workshops, and distributor events) to continuously recruit and activate MSPs and VARs.
- Build the lead lists that come out of events and run targeted micro-campaigns against them to drive activation.
- Get Opensense “up close and personal” with 30 to 50 MSPs at a time and win mind share away from competitors.
Distributor relationships and enablement
- Build and manage relationships with distributor senior sales leadership, channel managers, sales teams, and sales engineers so they introduce Opensense to partners with live opportunities.
- Partner with each distributor’s marketing team to secure buy-in, influence, and co-marketing support.
- Run monthly marketing syncs with each distributor’s dedicated Opensense marketing contact, scaling to six or eight distributors globally.
Events, campaigns, and content
- Create co-branded campaigns, social content, and marketing materials that help partners find opportunities and leads.
- Maintain a partner hub where MSPs get Opensense updates, content, and social assets.
- Plan and execute global distributor and partner events, handling planning and coordination end to end.
What you will bring
- 5+ years in channel or partner marketing within a B2B technology or SaaS organization.
- Hands-on experience working with distributors (TD SYNNEX, Ingram Micro, ScanSource, Pax8, or similar) and a working understanding of partner types: MSPs, VARs, SIs, and technology partners.
- Proven event marketing skills across both in-person and virtual formats, with strong project and program management.
- Experience running partner co-marketing programs with distributors.
- A relationship-driven operator. Confident with senior stakeholders, comfortable being the face in the room, and willing to be on the road.
- Strong copywriting and campaign development skills.
- Proficiency with CRM and marketing automation (Salesforce, Pardot, HubSpot) and partner portal platforms.
- Ability and willingness to travel for regional, national, and periodic international events.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with the Microsoft ecosystem and GCC High.
- Background in email signature management, email security, or adjacent SaaS.
- Experience supporting multiple regions (North America and UK/EMEA).
